Amazing Bike Camp Volunteers
Get fit while giving back at the Amazing Bike Camp!
National program iCanShine and The Children's Institute have partnered to bring the Amazing Bike Camp to Pittsburgh again this summer. This unique camp teaches children with special needs how to independently ride a two-wheeled bicycle.
A Bike Camp Volunteer works with a child by helping him or her to maintain balance by running along side or behind the child as they learn to ride. This is a physically demanding activity. All volunteers are trained by iCanShine staff prior to the start of camp.
Volunteer must be:
- 16 years or older
- Physically fit - ability to run/walk beside bicycle for at least 1 hour and 15 minutes
- Positive and encouraging

- 10:05AM - 11:20AM
- 11:40AM - 12:55PM
- 2:00PM - 3:15PM
- 3:35PM - 4:30PM
