As a follow up to her recent week-long series of special reports on autism, WTAE’s news anchor Michelle Wright interviewed Dr. Scott Faber from The Children’s Institute and Dr. Skip Kingston from Duquesne University about our collaborative research study looking at the effects of a clean sleeping environment on children with autism. The construction of the clean sleeping room is nearly complete and the study will begin in April. Also interviewed was Malissa Guerrero, whose seven-year-old daughter, Mackenzie, attends The Day School and is a patient of Dr. Faber.
