For families with children ages 18 and under who are experiencing challenges that threaten their ability to remain intact, our In-Home Family Services program offers evidence-based, in-person support. We work alongside families, providing the support and services needed to reduce trauma and out-of-home removals.
With the primary goal of keeping each child can safely remain with the birth family, our In-Home Family Services team provides evidence-based, trauma-informed services to preserve families at risk of having a child removed from the home and to reunify families who have had a child removed. Our experienced team accepts referrals for a range of services, including:
- Preservation and reunification services
- In-home, intensive family support
- Individualized care to meet family needs
In-Home Family Services also works with families who have been separated due to out-of-home placement of the children. We work with the family to address the issues - homelessness, drug addiction, unchecked mental health, child abuse allegations, lack of appropriate parenting skills, and more - that led to the removal of their children. The goal is to give the families the skills and resources they need to provide a safe, stable, and nurturing home for their children, so that successful reunification can occur.
Our highest priority is always the safety and health of the child. The In-Home Family Services team remains focused on this priority throughout the intensive process of reunification or preservation.
