The Children's Institute Names Four Executives to its Board of Directors

The Children’s Institute is pleased to announce that four individuals have recently joined the organization’s board of directors.

McCall Cravens is the chief investment officer for the Heinz Family Office (HFO). She is responsible for overseeing and investing the HFO’s various portfolios across a global, multi-asset class spectrum. Cravens previously served as the chief investment officer for Hunt Global Investments, the investment arm of Hunt Consolidated, and for Palette Investment Company, the family office of Ray L. Hunt and his descendants. Prior to those roles, Cravens served as Southern Methodist University’s managing director of investments in the endowment office, as well as an investment professional for several private equity funds, including Pamlico Capital and Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners. She was also an analyst in the M&A investment banking group at Wachovia. McCall received her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Latika Davis-Jones, Ph.D., MPH, MSW is the senior director of behavioral health at Highmark Wholecare (formerly Gateway Health Plan). Davis-Jones provides leadership and administrative oversight of Highmark Wholecare’s behavioral health program and oversees program development including the development of operations within new markets and the implementation and evaluation of utilization management, case management, and disease/condition management programs. She has focused on the physical and behavioral health needs of vulnerable populations for the past 25 years. Prior to joining Highmark Wholecare, Davis-Jones was responsible for the organization, implementation, and coordination of drug and alcohol services at the Allegheny County Department of Human Services. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Central State University and her MSW, MPH, and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.

Danica Griffith is an executive vice president at PNC and chief risk, change, experience, and strategy officer for the Corporate and Institutional Bank and Asset Management Group. In this role, Danica leads PNC’s first-line operational risk, regulatory and financial crimes compliance, regulatory governance, quality assurance, capital and change management, client and employee experience, marketing strategy and financial sponsor coverage teams. Prior to PNC, Danica spent over a decade building and leading an advisory business in the Consumer and Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs. Previously, she worked in institutional advancement and capital campaign development for The Westminster Schools in Atlanta. Griffith received her bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and her MBA from Wharton.

Donna Sturgess is chief marketing officer, college of engineering and executive in residence at Carnegie Mellon University and president and founding partner of Buyology Inc. At Carnegie Mellon University, she works to advance the college’s mission in research and education. Sturgess is a senior marketer leading domestic and global businesses, holding positions of global head of innovation and VP of marketing and strategic planning during her career at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). At Buyology Inc. she has been a visionary proponent of building clients’ businesses through a deeper understanding of the non-conscious drivers of attention, engagement, and persuasion to better understand customer choice and why people buy what they buy. Sturgess frequently writes and speaks internationally on the topics of creating and marketing remarkable brands.
